OCR: THE END GOTO MAIN JI. CHESS TUTOR GAME HAVE A GO! A game of chess is split up into 3 sections. The Opening - where both sides get their pieces into strong positions, The Middle Gane - where most of the attacking and capturing takes place, and Finally, The End Game - where either both sides are looking For checkmate, 1 side is looking For checkmate, whilst the other is hanging on desperately, or where both sides are looking For a draw. It is usually the most exciting time in a chess game, as there are not Many pieces left on the board, and any mistakes are usually punished heavily. We have put together a selection of examples that would arise in The End Game, which will test every skill that you have learnt. You should now be able to spot certain situations, and use them to your advantage, or deal with them in the best way. So click on "Have A Go" and have a go !!!!
